The Environmental Chemistry exercise has no link because it is not on-line. Part of the purpose of this exercise is to expose students to a ‘real-world’ chemistry experience, like they might see as a B. S. chemist in a contract laboratory. They are presented with a problem in the first week (monitoring water quality in a small, mid-western city’s reservoir) and assigned part of the problem to work on in a small group. In the second week they perform the experiment and in the third week they give a short oral presentation of their results.
